Mummy Suqi actually recommend tui na at Yu Guo, but Kembangan is not too near and the queue is usually super long. Furthermore, given that she doesn't like people to touch her (even her own bro!!) would worsen the situation. Anyway, out of desperation, we brought her to Eu Yan Sang clinic at Rivervale Mall after hearing some good reviews from friends and also affirmation from mummy Ellice.

The TCM physician looked at her tongue, throat and palms before diagnosing that she had 风咳. She was given a week's dose of powder and the total cost $51.65 (inclusive of consultation which is $14). It is coming to a week and she is getting slightly better, hopefully she doesn't get into a relapse.

I understand that Chinese medication would take a longer time to recover as compared to the Western medication. As long as she recovers and builds up her immunity, I am happy.

Let's see how it goes. Seriously, I am still feeling a little sceptical if the powder would be effective for her body. I hope I am wrong. =(

Oh well, this is pretty random, but I just can't help laughing when yx took the toilet roll and starts tearing the paper. This pic got me thinking..... do you prefer toilet paper facing outward or inward? I prefer the former although I think hub prefers the later (or maybe couldn't be bothered as long as there is paper when needed..LOL). ok, whatever.

Shadow & light

hmm where can I see the moon shadow?

I am sitting so near to the moon! whee!

I love touching my crescent moon!

I was as fascinated as yx when I use the moon to introduce shadow and light concept to her. This is not her face time playing with shadows - we did that when she was a baby. Basically we used the touchlight and tried playing with our fingers and hands. It was magical to her. She also loves chasing her own shadows in the evenings and she finds it funny when her shadow disappeared suddenly. It would be fun to see how she relate this to her bro ......
