Reasons for Vomitting

Now that I am feeling better and more stabilised, I thought I better document down the reasons before I forget:
  1. Mix of S26 milk and milo is not done properly. (the ratio should be 1:2 cos I can't take S26 just by itself. I need milo to give some chocolatey flavour.)  :(
  2. Cheddar Cheese ! (oh, i used to love it !)
  3. Eating and walking too fast
  4. Eating something that I don't feel it -even if the food is "tried and tasted before" (but force myself cos baby needs food.) Going with the mood is the key !!
  5. Smelling of thick hawker fumes (see also no. 4 in this post.) or super strong fragrance (be it shampoo, perfumes, cooking-related or anything with strong smell.
  6. Super rowdy, crowded and noisy environment
  7. Thinking too much of negative things
  8. Swallowing BIG multi-vitamin pills !
  9. Brushing teeth with Darlie ! (instead of using "full" amount, i have to reduce to "half" paste. OMG.) 
  10. Touching and washing my neck area during bathing (especially sensitive when touching my neck cos it induces vomiting !!!).

Still Hibernating

Although I have passed the critical 3-month period, I am still feeling very tired, with occassional mood swings. I have no mood for anything except the bed, some pregnancy books, some TV programmes and then the bed. Yeah, my bed is my most comforting place.

I missed having the freedom to eat/drink without hesitation, going shopping, manicure/pedicures, surfing the net, watching movies, .........but I simply can't. I have to place plastic bags and some Hudson lime sweets (just in case of that horrible"V") in my bag. I have to be very careful wherever I go.......urgh.

Baby baby, mummy is feeling so miserable but I know I gotta hang in there.

Vitamins / Supplements I

Folic Acid - 5mg
1 daily after food.

Thank goodness is a really small tablet, else I don't think I can swallow with ease, given my nausea condition is still quite erratic. =(

Condition for the past 4 months

My condition for the past 3-4 months has been like a roller coaster.
  1. Can't even sit in front of the PC to blog. (1st 3 months)
  2. Experience diffculty to burp - and it is making me feeling nauseous !
  3. Drinking water is almost impossible ! Needs some honey or ribena in water, else water taste so bitter that I felt like vomiting. 
  4. Can't stand fishy smell, hawker fumes, food in mouth- the aftertaste (esp eating hawker food), butter smell, seafood, durian smell (but i used to love it!)
  5. Crave for minced meat. veggies ok, but depends on the mood. (used to like veggies) occasional cravings for fast-food.
  6. Some occasional brown discharge on my panty liner.
  7. Low immune system (having sore throat earlier in May)  
  8. Always want to sit or lie down like an old woman
  9. Always want to sleep like a pig (even though mind not sleepy, but the body seems to like the bed)
  10. Always wake up early in the morning/wee hours feeling hungry (when i am actually not a morning person !!!)

Choosing Gynae

My criteria:
  1. Must be female
  2. Patient and experienced
  3. Can deliver at Thomson Medical or Mount Alvernia 
  4. Able to understand 1st time mother worries
  5. Reasonable fees 
Currently, I am seeing a female gynae at AMK Hub. 
So far so good, let's see how it goes.
